Here at StyleTails, if there’s one thing we NEVER tire of, it’s (obviously) seeking out the most stylish, silliest and sassiest cats on the internet. And believe us when we say, there’s plenty #catsoftheworld that deserve our attention.
While 2018 definitely saw plenty of felines rise to fame, there’s no doubt that this year is set to be a seriously star studded affair, with a whole host of cats set to break the internet.
Wondering which ones to watch out for? Here, we round up 2019’s most famous cats, guaranteed to give Kim Kardashian a run for her money…
With wide eyes that give her the appearance of being permanently surprised, Nala wins the award for being one of the cutest cats in the land. The Siamese/Tabby was given to a shelter by her previous owners when she was just a tiny kitten and luckily, she was later adopted by Varisiri Mathachittiphan. With 3.8 million followers and an Instagram feed that is equal parts adorable and hilarious, we have no doubt that Nala deserves the spot as one of 2019’s rising stars.
Honey Bee is without a doubt one of the most inspirational cats we’ve ever seen and we’re sure her stardom is set to continue this year. Although she was born completely blind, that hasn’t stopped this adventurous kitty who loves to go hiking (yes, really!), with her owners. Check out this video of her on her travels.
Suki The Adventure Cat is more well-travelled than most humans. The spectacular Bengal cat’s Instagram feed will give you serious wanderlust envy. This Canadian kitty certainly isn’t afraid of getting her paws stuck in, which take her on worldwide adventures. From canoe rides to blooming meadows, the lucky cat has seen it all.
While our eyebrows might not always be on fleek, we’ll be taking some #inspo from Sam’s perfectly poised brows. The pure white cat sports a black tail and eyebrows, making him one of the most unique cats around. He’s already been featured in newspapers and magazines around the world. We dare you to look at his photos and not smile.
He might have been bestowed with the title of ‘World’s Angriest Cat’, but this is thankfully all down to his features, rather than temperament. This super sweet Persian cat bares a striking resemblance to Garfield, and despite his less than sunny appearance, he puts up with everything his owner has planned for him, making him the perfect model!
Caught somewhere between being perpetually happy and sleepy, Shironeko wins the award for cutest napper. While all cats are renowned for being somewhat on the lazy side, Shironeko does it with a smile on his face and often crowned with something floral. A cat after our own hearts.
Proving that cats and art go hand-in-hand, Svetlana Petrova spends time improving paintings and movies by inserting her beloved ginger feline, Zarathustra into them! Svetlana spends hours in Photoshop, carefully inserting her cat into works of art, and claims that it can take months to get it just right. We definitely think there’s no better model for the job!
Don’t snub the runt of the litter as they might just go on to be world famous! Rescue kitty, Lil Bub might have feline dwarfism, but has oodles of personality to make up for his small stature. Over 2 million Instagram followers are captivated by Lil Bub’s kitten-like cuteness, proving that good things really do come in small packages.
While she might have two faces, Venus is nothing but sweetness! The gorgeous kitty is a cute blue-eyed red head on one side and a green-eyed black haired vixen on the other. This is the result of being a ‘chimera’ cat, meaning the fur colouring of both her parents developed on her face, before merging into the beautiful marbled fur on her body. The Insta-famous cat has used her one-of-a-kind look to promote self-love and uniqueness.
Last but by no means least is Gumpy Cat! While this cat has been famous for quite some time, it’s highly unlikely we’ll be unfollowing her anytime soon. After her photo was posted on Reddit, Grumpy Cat (formerly known as Tartar Sauce) went viral. The queen of memes has published books, stared in her own feature film, Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever and has a Friskies sponsorship. Just look at that face!
