10 Minutes With Animal Communicator Bianca de Reus

Imagine if you could find out what your pet was thinking and feeling? When Bianca de Reus first told me she could communicate with animals, I must say I was a little taken aback. What did she mean? Could she understand animal body language, or really ‘hear’ them?

Based in Sydney, Bianca is one of Australia’s most sought after animal communicators. A life-changing incident took Bianca on a new course, away from years of corporate work and into the world of animal communication and healing. From behavioural issues to physical pain and even pets who have passed on, Bianca has worked with hundreds of humans and animals (mainly dogs, cats and horses) to help them to deeply and intuitively understand each other.

What is animal communication?

Animal communication is the non-verbal, interspecies communication we have with animals. It is communication by way of telepathy, tuning into the frequency of the animal so you are on the same wavelength, allowing us to hear their messages.

How did you become aware that you have this ability?

I can officially blame a snake. In 2011 I was sitting on a fallen down tree with a friend having a bite to eat during a bush walk. At first I thought I was hearing things, but I kept hearing ‘Hello? Hello? Can you hear me?’ I asked who it was. It turned out to be a snake who was checking to see if I could hear him. The message I got urged me to go and use this ability to help animals and humans understand each other.

Were you shocked?

I wasn’t shocked; it was more about me trying to understand it and make sense of it all.  My logical mind couldn’t grasp what was happening.  Since then I have learned a variety of techniques  to help me manage it and I just trust that the information that comes to me is indeed from the animals. It has been a huge adjustment.

Why do people usually call on you for help?

The most common reason why people call me to help their animals is to find out why they are in pain or why they behave in a certain way. Almost all the time, once we know the reason, there is a big change in the animal’s behaviour or a big sigh of relieve that I have been able to verbalise what is going on in their body and with the pain. I have also worked with animals who are lost or missing, animals who may have suffered trauma, and animals who are adopted into a new family.

Do you need to be with the animal in person?

I don’t need to be with the animal in person; this can also be done over distance as it’s an energy exchange and telepathy. Sometimes however it is highly beneficial for me to be in the same room as the animal, as the surroundings can add to the conversation and the potential challenge the animal is facing.

This might sound silly, but do they speak to you in English?

Not silly at all! Animals speak a universal language, which is then translated in a way I can convey – some call it ‘telepathy’. Universal language is how we all communicate; we are all sentient beings and this is our method of communication. It is all to do with energy, frequency and consciousness.

Can other people learn to tap into this ability?

Absolutely! We are all able to communicate to animals.

What do you hope to achieve with your work?

My purpose is to bring love, harmony and balance to all Soul Beings. The work I do brings animals and humans onto the same wavelength so we can better understand and love each other. The more people I can teach to do this, the more animals will be heard, respected and listened to, and the more we can learn from each other.

How can people start to tune into their animals?

I would love to encourage everyone to observe their animal companions and those in the wild. Be still, tune in quietly, get on the same wavelength of consciousness and listen to what the animal is telling you. You may hear words, see images or feel a sense. Open up, allow them to come in and you will be pleasantly surprised how quickly you will connect with the animal.
