If you’ve ever wondered what it would look like if you took all the best bits of your favourite dog breeds and sort of cobbled them together into one super-hound, then behold – Britain’s ideal dog!
A survey of 2,000 dog owners across the UK, conducted by Frontline Spot On, revealed that the Brits are a nation of traditionalists when it comes to dog breeds. They want the floppy ears of a King Charles spaniel, the body of a border collie, the short fur of a bulldog, the snout of a labrador, the golden colour of a retriever and the long-flowing tail of an Irish setter.
Maybe not what you expected? You might get a few funny looks while taking this patchwork pooch for walk.

Verity - Jack&Pep
I thought the image for this was hilarious when I first saw it, but actually I think it’s pretty accurate! I love my Cocker Spaniel’s droopy ears and feathered tail, but I do sometimes wish her body fur was as low maintainance as my smooth coated Jack Russell’s!
