We spied this clever little Japanese number a while ago, and the good news is – it is now available to buy and ship worldwide! Created by Japanese company, Rinn Design, the Petly is a stylish, minimal gadget that allows you to feed your cat (or small dog) dry food at pre-programmed intervals – great for when you can’t be at home.
There are plenty of automatic pet food dispensers on the market, but this one has to take the sardines from an aesthetic and functional point of view. Smooth, sleek and only in white (of course), you won’t need to hide this baby when visitors pop around.
The Petly holds up to 1kg of dry food, and the simple dial allows you to program up to 4 measured feedings per day. No one likes a fat cat (well they are quite cuddly actually), so the amount dispensed measured in 5g units, which means you can carefully monitor how much your puss is munching on.
This stylish little unit is also battery operated, so need to worry about power cords, and the food is stored in the sealed interior, to keep smells contained.
The Petly is available to buy from petly.jp for JPY 29,500 (£168.00)
