To celebrate this ghoulish and ghastly time of year, we’ve rounded up 10 of our favourite Halloween costumes for dogs, cats, guinea pigs and hedgehogs (yes, really!)

We should also say – that while some pets love dressing up, other don’t. So if your pet literally can’t stand any sort of clothing or adornment on them – please don’t torment them. TIPS FOR DRESSING YOUR PET UP SAFELY
  • Make sure the costume fits properly, is comfortable and isn’t restricting your pet in any way
  • Don’t use any materials for your pet’s costume that could be harmful – like small pieces that could be ingested or anything that could scratch or cut them
  • Don’t dress your pet in anything that covers their eyes, nose or mouth as it may restrict their breathing
  • Give your pet some time to walk around in their costume and get used to it
  • If your pet hates wearing costumes – please don’t dress them up!
