Well-travelled canines of a culinary disposition are licking their chops in delight at the newly launched gourmet menu of dog dinners at pet friendly hotel, Overwater Hall. Winners of the Taste of England Awards in 2013, this gastronomic retreat in the Lake District is now serving up a sumptuous range of freshly prepared meals for their canine guests.

Overwater Hall’s Head Chef has created a drool-inducing menu for dogs including Fish Jerky Canapés, Chicken Risotto, Braised Beef Cheeks with Pasta and even an indulgent Chocolate Pudding (made with pooch-friendly ingredients).

Set in 18 acres of formal garden and stunning woodlands, this Georgian gem is a dog-lovers delight. Not just dog tolerant, Overwater Hall is positively dog embracing, with dogs staying free in its unashamedly antique and utterly charming rooms, as well as enjoying its lounge and bar area – there’s even a professional dog sitting service for pampered pooches.
