WHAT’S HOT: Gorgeous and Ghoulish PyroPet Candles

It’s not all sweetness and light with these cute cat candles from PyroPet – light them and watch them burn baby burn!

Our first reaction to these cute cat candles by PyroPet was – ahhh nice. Lovely powder pink and soft grey with cool geometric facetted finish. But what we really love is what happens once you light them. As your cute kitty burns down, a ghoulish metal skeleton is revealed – adding a whole new dimension of ARRRRGHHH! to the process.

Described by the brand: “Sweet little kittens are transformed in a fire. Crawling from the ashes come forth grinning metallic devils with sharp claws and fire blazing in their eyes.” WOW.

“One day as I watched the chubby body of a jolly Santa Claus shaped candle slowly melt, deform, and perish into a sad pool of wax I wondered if I could elevate this common place ritual sacrifice into a true theatre of the macabre in wax,” says Thorunn.
