London’s very own dog & cat outfitters, Mungo & Maud have launched an exclusive collaboration with luxe US label Paige Denim.
We’ve all had a pair of jeans so utterly comfortable and flattering, we’ve quite literally wanted to sleep in them. Well now cool canines can get in on the denim act too. London’s uber-cool dog and cat outfitters, Mungo & Maud today launch an exclusive collaboration with luxe US label Paige Denim.
The collection of bolster beds and bone toys comes in three Paige signature denims including Stripe, Rose and Sundial. Super comfy, these denim doggy pieces are sure to get better with every wear (or sleep)!
Owner of four dogs of her own, Paige Adams Geller, co-founder and creative director of Paige Denim leapt at the chance to work with Mungo & Maud on the collaboration.
“I fell in love with Mungo & Maud a few years back when visiting the UK. I adore their luxury accessories due to their quality, attention to detail and charm. So when Nicola reached out to me about the collaboration, I couldn’t resist! With four dogs of my own, one named London and a second named Chelsea… I knew it was meant to be. I know what my girls will be getting for Christmas this year!”
Nicola Sacher, Co-founder and Creative Director of Mungo & Maud adds, “I have been an admirer of Paige since I squeezed into my Skinnies. Amongst the many denim brands, this one always stood out for me: considered designs; great fabrics and an understated edge. The opportunity to collaborate on this original concept is so exciting for Mungo & Maud…and I love the idea of dogs sleeping in their ‘jeans’.”
The Paige for Mungo & Maud collection is available now at Mungo & Maud online and retail stores in Belgravia, Notting Hill and Harrods. The collection will also be available at Paige Denim stores in the US.
Stay tuned next week when we get to know the woman behind Mungo & Maud – co-founder and creative Director Nicola Sacher talks to us about her inspiration and plans for the brand.
