London’s poshest pooches gathered in Mayfair to celebrate the launch of Ralph Lauren’s The Dog Walk video starring rescue dogs in support of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.

No one does the preppy pooch look quite like Ralph Lauren, so it seems fitting that the famous American label launched their luxurious Autumn 2013 accessories collection with a unique canine collaboration in support of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.

The Dog Walk, which premiered online at this week, stars a marvellous mash-up of rescue pups alongside models in standout pieces from the Ralph Lauren Autumn accessories collection. The best part is that Ralph Lauren are donating 10% of the sale of selected merchandise from the collection to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home from now until the 15th November.

Shot using striking 3D imaging, the film follows a bevy of beautiful models and mutts as they strut down iconic streets from New York City to Paris and past signature Ralph Lauren stores like RRL on Bleecker Street and the flagship store on Avenue St. Germain.

To celebrate the launch of The Dog Walk, Tatler magazine hosted an exclusive pooch party at members club, 5 Hertford Street in Mayfair last Saturday. Dressed up to the K-9’s, guests including footwear designer Patrick Cox, with his two butch bulldogs Caesar and Brutus, and fashion blogger Sasha Wilkins, AKA Liberty London Girl with her feisty rescue hound Posetta Baddog, sipped on bubbles while pooches chowed down on pupcakes from Pet Pavilion.
