George tests out some of London’s best pooch pamper parlours for Time Out….no one said it was easy being beautiful.
If I’d had the good sense to be a beauty writer, I’d currently be horizontal, wrapped in seaweed and enjoying the sensation of being pummelled with hundreds of hot healing stones. As I opted for pets as my subject of choice (hair is so much less frowned upon in this industry), I was just a mere bystander as George was fringed, fluffed and feathered, all in the name of beauty.
As Time Out’s intrepid canine correspondent, George had the ungodly task of testing out the treatments on offer at some of the capital’s poshest pamper parlours. From a blueberry facial to the ‘dogzillian’ trim, no hair was left untouched in George’s quest for pooch perfection.
