WHAT’S HOT: Markus Lupfer for Whistles

Designer Markus Lupfer, he of the the straight-to-the-point slogan knitwear has collaborated with Whistles on a warm, woolly and delightfully funny festive collection including a very cute doggy sweater. Out in stores tomorrow.

It seems like only yesterday we were moaning about the end of the summer that never was, and BOOM, winter’s here.  In the blink of an eye, failed rainy barbeques have turned to mulled wine and mince pies. Don’t shed a tear though, it’s time to put our summer sadness behind us and whole heartedly embrace the festive season like a hug from a big fat snowman.

Markus Lupfer’s collection for Whistles has well and truly put me in the festive mood. Due out tomorrow, the 14 piece collection includes a cosy ‘Brrr’ beanie,  ‘HUG ME’ hot water bottle cover, ‘WRAP ME UP’ scarf  and a luxuriously soft cashmere dog sweater emblazoned with the word ‘WOOF’. Obviously.

As if you needed any more reasons to indulge, Whistles have created this festive video featuring Zoe Ball, Lauren Laverne, Janet Street Porter, and Lupfer’s adorable Miniature Schnauzer Stanley listening to a bed time story.
